When you apply LawnSaver applications in the Spring, you will still need to apply Step 1 (preemergent) and Step 2 (weed and feed) fertilizers to your lawn in between some of the LawnSaver treatments.  Here is a schedule of suggested LawnSaver treatments combined with fertilizer applications in the Spring:

Mid April - Step 1 fertilizer (preemergent)

End of April - LawnSaver application 

Mid May -  Step 2 fertilizer (weed and feed)

End of May - LawnSaver application

End of June - LawnSaver application

LawnSaver applications can be applied 30 days apart any time of the year, and can also replace using Step 3 and Step 4 fertilizers, for a more lush and healthy lawn!
