No, applying LawnSaver to your lawn will only cost $30 per 1000 square feet per application.
How is LawnSaver applied to my lawn?
LawnSaver can be applied with your own fertilizer spreader very easily. Application instructions are on the bag.
Is LawnSaver safe with children and pets?
LawnSaver is not a dangerous chemical, but is an environmentally friendly product. Once LawnSaver is applied to the lawn, and is watered in, it is safe for children and pets to be on the lawn.
How often is LawnSaver applied to the lawn?
LawnSaver is applied (3) times to the lawn, 30 days in between each application. We also recommend only (1) preventative maintenance application in the spring of each future year to help your lawn stay healthy.
Do I apply LawnSaver to my entire lawn, or just the areas with the lawn problems?
LawnSaver applications may be applied on the entire lawn as an entire lawn application to help keep the entire lawn healthy, or in the lawn problem areas only as a spot application. Spot applications may result in increased turf green-up in the applied area only. Applying LawnSaver on the entire lawn is recommended to maintain uniform greening of the turf.
Do I also apply fertilizer to my lawn during LawnSaver applications?
Yes! Lawn fertilizers may be applied 2 weeks in between LawnSaver applications, especially in the spring with Step 1 (preemergent) and Step 2 (weed and feed) fertilizers.
How do I know if my lawn has grubs, or if it is lawn health problem?
If you have grubs, which are a small white worm or small black bug that eat the roots of your lawn, your dead lawn will turn a light gray color, like cement, and you will need to apply a grub pesticide to resolve this insect problem. But if your lawn does NOT have grubs, but does have another lawn health problem, the dead area of your lawn will turn a straw color, and can be successfully resolved with LawnSaver!

Yes! Most granular fertilizers are applied at a rate of 5 lbs. per 1000 square feet. LawnSaver is applied at 10 lbs. per 1000 square feet. So simply keep your drop or broadcast spreader at the same setting as your fertilizer application, and just apply the LawnSaver to your lawn twice at 5 lbs. per 1000 square feet, to equal the needed 10 lbs. per 1000 square feet.
Since LawnSaver is supposed to be watered every day, in smaller amounts per instructions on the bag, what do I do if the city I live in requires every-other-day watering?
Go to the “Resources" tab on the LawnSaver website, and you will find watering instructions for drought, including "Monday-Wednesday-Friday" and "Every-Other-Day" watering instructions.

Once daily temperatures are above 70 degrees Fahrenheit, you will need to water your lawn if LawnSaver has been applied.
